To support Moxie’s mobile chat launch, we’ve conducted a study that surveyed more than 2,100 U.S. residents about their online and mobile shopping habits, and identified the rising trend of live online chat for sales and support assistance. With the growth of mobile, expected to represent 25 percent of retail commerce by 2017*, Moxie Mobile Chat fills a market void, as 75 percent of US consumers prefer to live chat with brands on mobile devices.
Moxie’s study provided great insights about consumers’ mobile shopping habits, especially men and their impact this upcoming holiday shopping season. Against popular belief, men shop online more often than women.
