Sanjay Uppal Named Chief Financial Officer of nGenera Corporation

Austin, Texas – March 16, 2010. nGenera Corporation – provider of software solutions that manage and accelerate collaboration among employees and between enterprises and their customers – announced today that technology industry veteran Sanjay Uppal has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer.
Uppal brings 30 years of experience in financial and accounting management to his role as CFO for nGenera, with significant experience in the software and services sector.

Uppal most recently served as the CFO for Montavista Software, a privately held embedded Linux software provider that was sold to Cavium Networks. Prior to Montavista, Sanjay served as CFO/VP of Finance for KSR, Continuent, and Bluestar Solutions, where he was responsible for managing their financial and accounting functions, developing strategic plans and leading several rounds of funding.
Prior to that, he spent more than ten years at Amdahl Corporation, where he held a variety of senior financial-oriented roles. Early in his career, Uppal was an analyst in the M&A group of Coopers & Lybrand and an auditor with KPMG.
Uppal is a chartered accountant, earned an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and a BA from the University of Bombay. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
